Ryo Honda is a Japanese illustrator and artist who works primarily with pen and water color. This figurine is a model of Kabakuro and his little son Shiro. The same characters that are featured in Ryo Honda’s first picture book, Kabakuro First Story.

Kabakuro is made of high-quality polystone material and is about 4″ tall. It comes in a beautiful illustrated box. The bottom of the figurine is signed in white by Ryo Honda and reads “Kabakuro First Figurine model designed by Ryo Honda.”
